Amap launches Qianyu, turning location data into no-code workflows

Amap reported more than 170 million daily active users and more than 120 million service-related searches per day in 2025, but those figures say nothing about Qianyu's enterprise adoption. Its competitive case rests on packaging analysis into natural-language tasks, while Google, HERE and Mapbox already offer mature routing infrastructure.
Amap Platform general manager Cui Yong introduced Qianyu on September 24th, pitching the mapping business's location data and analysis capabilities as a platform for building AI agents without code.
