Endra is pairing a large claimed a16z-led round with product registration, a common move for AI startups trying to convert investor signaling into customer pipeline.

Endra AI raised a $50 million Series A to build software that automates mechanical, electrical and plumbing design work for buildings, with Andreessen Horowitz leading the round.
The Stockholm company, legally registered as Endra Systems AB, is building a purpose-built AI platform for MEP engineering design, covering the systems that make buildings function, including fire alarms, electrical networks, HVAC, plumbing, data infrastructure and security systems. Endra AI says its software automates design, modelling and documentation work that has traditionally taken weeks or months, reducing some workflows to hours or minutes.

Andreessen Horowitz framed the investment around a bottleneck in the built world: MEP consultants still do large amounts of repetitive design, modelling and code-checking work by hand. The firm described the category as a $150 billion-plus global services market constrained by the capacity of human engineers.
The platform ingests standard building model files, integrates with Autodesk Revit and reconstructs buildings in 3D, according to a16z. Engineers can set rules for systems such as fire or power, run optimization and generate designs that would otherwise require repeated manual work across floor plans. a16z cited early customer feedback calling the shift from legacy tools to Endra AI like going from riding a horse to going to the moon.
Endra AI lists Niklas Lindgren as co-founder and CEO, Anton Juric as co-founder and COO, and David Rydberg and Gustav Hammarlund as co-founders focused on core technology. a16z said Lindgren and Juric are childhood friends who started and sold a company in an adjacent space and grew up around MEP consultants, while Rydberg and Hammarlund worked together on Goldman Sachs' low-latency trading desk in Stockholm.
The company previously said it raised a $20 million seed round in December 2025 led by Notion Capital, with participation from Norrsken VC and angel investors, after a EUR 3 million pre-seed in May 2025. Endra AI's fire alarm design product is live, while electrical, HVAC, plumbing, data and fibre, security and lighting systems are in development.
Endra AI is directing prospective users to its fire alarm product page and access request form. The company is distinct from Endra Life Sciences Inc., the Nasdaq-listed medical device company; Endra AI's canonical domain is endra.ai.
