Framer adds new AI models to its website-building Agent
An October 3rd roundup confirms the addition but names no models or terms. Framer's September 15th model guide lists seven choices, but predates the update.

Why it matters
Teams cannot judge whether the announced models improve their Framer workflow or change its cost without knowing which models are available and how their credit use compares.

Framer said it added AI models to its website-building Agent in an October 3rd product roundup. The post names no models and gives no rollout timing, access terms, or model-specific credit prices, leaving the practical change unspecified.
Framer's model-selection guide, updated September 15th, lists Sonnet 5, Opus 4.7, GPT 5.5, Fable 5, and three GPT 5.6 options: Sol, Terra, and Luna. The guide describes differences in creative quality, speed, and credit use, and says users can switch models in the Agent panel while continuing in the same project. Because the guide predates the roundup, its list does not identify which models Framer added, if any, or establish a change to the picker after October 3rd.
The roundup also offers no detail about whether the announced models have different access limits or credit costs. The September guide explains relative credit use, but does not provide model-specific prices. That leaves users without information to compare the new options on cost or availability.
Framer introduced the Agent in June as a tool that can work with the same canvas, components, CMS content, styles, SEO settings, and publishing workflow used to build sites. Model choice can shape how teams use those capabilities; Framer's October post does not explain what the additions change for that work. Framer's launch post described the Agent as available to everyone at launch, but that does not establish the access terms for the models mentioned in October.
