Why it matters

GitHub and Logitech are bringing AI coding controls beyond the agent itself, with ways for developers to start, steer and resume its work. The keypad puts that interface bet on a $99.99 device and ties a Copilot Pro+ trial to the purchase.

A hand presses a compact keypad beside a code workspace, with a Logitech sign on the studio wall.

GitHub has integrated its Copilot app with Logitech's MX Keypad, a $99.99 programmable desk controller that lets developers assign physical buttons to repeated prompts, IDE commands and agent sessions. Logitech began selling the device on September 8th; GitHub detailed the collaboration on October 15th, and its October 17th post on X restated the integration.
