Google introduced a new model, Gemini 3.5 Flash, during I/O. The release was announced by Google AI Studio (@GoogleAIStudio) in a post on X and is available now via the Gemini API in Google AI Studio.

In the announcement, Google characterized Gemini 3.5 Flash as delivering "frontier performance for agents and coding," adding that it excels at "complex long-horizon tasks that deliver real-world utility." Access is available through the Gemini API endpoint in Google AI Studio.
The post did not include pricing, benchmarks, or technical specs. Google framed the model squarely at developers building agentic systems and coding tools, with availability today through its existing API surface.
