Why it matters

Zenith is a piece of hardware behind Inversion's under-an-hour orbital delivery pitch. Arc must maneuver at Mach 20-plus and land within feet of a target, a guidance and computing problem Ray never got to test after a short circuit blocked its deorbit burn in 2025.

A spacecraft streaks above cloud-covered Earth with a fiery glow, a crescent moon, and a small “RW” mark on the right.

Inversion introduced Zenith, its in-house flight computer for the Arc reentry spacecraft, in a thread on X on November 2nd. The Los Angeles company said Zenith "orchestrates nearly every system on Arc" from Mach 20-plus hypersonic flight through a precise, soft landing.
