KSAT will launch an anchorless newscast with AI-voiced story teases

San Antonio television station KSAT 12 will put an AI voice on air in a new weekday newscast, using it to read some story teases in a mostly anchorless format that debuts September 14th.
The half-hour program, called The Rundown, will air at 1 p.m. on KSAT, the station's website and its free KSAT+ streaming service. It will cover local news, weather, sports and breaking stories, according to the station's announcement.…
