Why it matters

If agents become the control layer for robotics workflows, value shifts toward whoever can reliably coordinate models, simulation tools and compute, not just whoever supplies the model. That gives Nous a path from open-source adoption to paid deployments while strengthening NVIDIA's position across the stack; reliability and access controls will determine whether that coordination is useful to customers.

Nous Research's Hermes agent orchestrates robot training in Jensen Huang's GTC demo — The October 21st Berlin keynote demo linked simulation software, AI models and NVIDIA hardware to train a policy for Hugging Face's Microduck robot.

NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang used Nous Research's Hermes Agent in an October 21st GTC Berlin demonstration that took a simulated robot-training workflow from a written prompt toward a policy intended for a physical robot. Nous Research says Hermes configured itself, assembled the simulation tools and coordinated training for Hugging Face's Microduck robot.…
