Why it matters
The mode gives developers who prefer a dock, Alt+Tab and minimized windows a way to try Omarchy without giving up its tiling workflow. It is already available on the Dev channel, though Omarchy warns that Dev can break and advises against using it as a daily driver.
David Heinemeier Hansson said in an October 13th post that Omarchy is getting a traditional desktop mode with a dock, giving developers another reason to switch to the Linux distribution.
