Why it matters
Othello is betting that sales AI can earn a place in the live conversation, where advice has to arrive quickly enough to be useful. Its customer and performance figures remain company-reported, and the competitive field already includes vendors offering real-time coaching.

Othello raised an $8 million seed round on October 14th to develop AI models that coach sales representatives during live calls, turning a sales problem co-founder Jared Zelman encountered at an earlier startup into a product he is now selling to enterprise teams. The round was announced by Zelman on X and reported by Business Insider.
