Why it matters
Pika is testing whether a specialist creative platform can grow by embedding its tools and library inside a general-purpose assistant, rather than relying on users to start in Pika itself.
Pika, led by co-founder and CEO Demi Guo, has brought its image, video and sound-generation tools into ChatGPT, adding an interactive workspace where users can create and edit media without leaving a conversation. Pika described the integration in an October 16th thread on X; its listing is available in ChatGPT's plugin directory.
