Why it matters
Reason Machines is selling a shared execution layer around coding models: cloud workspaces and team coordination, rather than another editor centered on one developer's machine.

Reason Machines introduced Reason, a coding agent designed to run in the cloud and be shared across a team, in an October 19th thread on X. The thread's pitch is brief: developers can bring their own model keys or subscriptions and collaborate on cloud agents. A follow-up post describes teammates using different accounts and models across multiple cloud worktrees.
