Rocket Lab unveils GHOST mobile launch system for missile-defense missions
Peter Beck's company will install two Electron and HASTE pads at Kodiak, with the containerized system due to fly in 2027.

Sir Peter Beck (@Peter_J_Beck) is turning launch-pad infrastructure into a product. Rocket Lab unveiled GHOST on August 10th, a containerized system designed to deploy Electron and HASTE rockets, ground equipment and range-control systems to new launch locations.
The first installation will be Rocket Lab Launch Complex 4 at the Pacific Spaceport Complex-Alaska on Kodiak Island. Rocket Lab plans to establish two pads there and conduct GHOST's first operational suborbital launch in 2027.
