Why it matters

Scenario is betting that creative teams will want agents to operate inside established production software, not just produce assets to import later. Its open-source Blender integration broadens access to scene-level automation, while hosted generation keeps a key part of the workflow tied to Scenario's service.

Emmanuel de Maistre, Scenario's co-founder and CEO, announced an open-source Blender extension on October 14th that lets AI agents inspect and manipulate 3D scenes, build camera paths and request renders. The plugin puts agents inside an artist's existing workspace; Scenario's image, video and 3D generation still runs through its online service and requires an account and internet connection.
