Why it matters

Vene is testing whether AI agents can move beyond reminders and handle the fragmented administrative work of ongoing care. Its reported family adoption and provider-network push make execution - records access, follow-through and payer distribution - as important as the agent technology.

Sujal Dhakal (@sujaldkl) introduced Vene Health on October 21st as an AI assistant for the work that follows a medical visit: chasing referrals, arranging appointments, renewing prescriptions and sorting out insurance problems. Dhakal says more than 5,000 families use the service and that Vene is being deployed to another 50,000 patients through U.S. provider networks.
