OpenAI: GPT-5.4 Image 2 takes the matchup, 65.0 to 57.0, winning five tasks to FLUX 2’s one, with two ties. The limited confidence rating makes this a clear result, though not a sweep: FLUX has a distinct advantage in one demanding category and repeatedly gets the requested framing right when OpenAI does not. OpenAI’s strongest results came in visual interpretation.
