Nano Banana 2 takes the matchup on consistency. It wins six of eight tasks, with no losses, and its 66.8–59.4 aggregate lead carries a limited confidence verdict. That advantage shows up across very different prompts, not just one visual style. Its strongest results are practical as well as aesthetic: it made seven espresso cups easier to count, depicted the bracelet-tying action more clearly, and followed the bedroom’s requested spatial arrangement with a more polished composition. It also came out ahead on the rainy tram-stop scene, the reflection challenge, and the skyport poster—where legibility and prompt details mattered as much as atmosphere. FLUX 2 was competitive in the two closest comparisons. The mossy mech and clockwork beetle both ended as ties: FLUX brought convincing poses, lighting, and macro sparkle, while Nano Banana 2 was often judged sharper or more clearly detailed.
