Reporting record

OpenAI is preparing a gated program that rewards successful use of selected third-party plugins with ChatGPT workspace credits.

How we verified

Methods: reverse engineering.

Reverse-engineered Windows client version 26.901.51231 contains six campaign identifiers, server-controlled reward fields, incentive endpoints, enrollment and successful-use verification logic, billing confirmation, and user-facing reward language.

RuntimeWire reverse engineered the ChatGPT for Windows client, inspected its incentive-related code and strings, and compared version 26.901.51231 with version 26.901.20858 from September 3 to identify newly added user-facing language, qualifying actions, disclosures, identity checks, and recovery states.
