Google ships Gemini Omni 1.2 Flash with 15-second clips at $0.07 a second

Why it matters

The release lowers the stated 720p price to $0.07 per second while extending native generations to 15 seconds and letting creators revise full clips conversationally. If Google's consistency claims hold in production, teams could spend less time regenerating failed shots and more time producing variants for ads, product videos, and explainers.

Google rolled out Gemini Omni 1.2 Flash on November 5th, 2026, making the video generation and editing model generally available through the Gemini API and Gemini for business. Google AI Studio (@GoogleAIStudio) announced the release in a post on X that also listed availability in AI Studio and the Gemini API.
