Why it matters
The free week puts LongCat-2.5 in front of Hermes Agent users days after Meituan's launch and gives those users another model to try through Portal.
Nous Research, co-founded by Jeffrey Quesnelle, Karan Malhotra, Teknium and Shivani Mitra, said LongCat-2.5, the new multimodal model from Meituan LongCat, is free in Nous Portal for one week. Nous made the announcement in a post on X, linking readers to Portal and a demo video.
