Kuhar's $69 SidePulse Pro mounts as a filesystem, takes commands from a text file, and shows when Claude Code, Codex and other agents need a human.

Why it matters
Coding agents now run long enough that users walk away from the terminal, yet their most important state change is often a small prompt waiting on screen. SidePulse tests whether a physical, file-driven signal can close that gap without another dashboard, and Kuhar is selling it as an enthusiast device rather than a venture-scale platform.

Peter Kuhar (@pkuhar) put a status light in the MacBook Pro's SD card slot. On November 3rd, Kuhar posted on X that the slot now has an API: write to a file, blink the lights, or let an agent use the lights to get your attention.
