Why it matters

Cancer families are handed a high-stakes coordination job at the worst possible moment, across oncologists, hospitals, scans, pathology, trials, and insurers. Yang's skill treats AI as a clerk and preparation tool for that job, with its usefulness tied directly to the limits it refuses to cross.

A child leans against a patient wearing a floral headscarf in a hospital bed, with an IV stand and teddy bear nearby.

Peter Yang (@petergyang) built /fuck-cancer while helping his mother fight cancer, and he has made the AI skill free for any patient or caregiver to use. Hiten Shah (@hnshah) amplified it in a post on X on November 4th, writing that his own mother died of cancer when he was eight and that both of his parents were doctors. Shah called Yang's project "one of the most meaningful uses of AI I've seen."
