Why it matters
Parallel is selling web-grounded classifications as an API primitive: a low per-request price and batch queries could make repeated checks practical, while the company's accuracy examples still need independent testing on customer workloads.

Parallel Web Systems, led by Parag Agrawal (@paraga), launched a Decisions API that pairs web retrieval with structured answers for software workflows. The service costs $0.001 per request, and Parallel is offering 5,000 free requests, the company said in its October 27th thread on X. Its launch blog, dated October 25th, describes the product as a way to get a decision model's speed with information from the live web.
