Why it matters

Wonder is positioning its canvas as part of an existing software team's code-and-review process, rather than only as a place to generate interface mockups. The launch lays out that ambition; it does not establish adoption or prove that the workflow cuts engineering time.

A tablet and laptop display a phone app design and code, with an arrow between them; papers, a mug, and a phone sit on the desk.

Wonder, the design software startup led by co-founder and CEO Aibek Yegemberdin (@aibek_design), introduced a new version on October 27th built around connecting a design canvas to an existing codebase. The company says users can run apps locally, turn screens into editable layers, ship from the canvas and use their own Claude and Codex subscriptions. Those are product claims in Wonder's launch thread; the post offers no performance or adoption figures.
